There are three guest rooms to choose from at Blackburn Villa B&B, each decorated in its own distinctive style and all on the ground floor. There are two rooms with ensuite facilities, the luxurious Deluxe King Room and the King En-suite. The family room with a double and a single bed has exclusive access to the large, well appointed family bathroom which has a super sized bath and separate shower cubicle. There is one other double room which used to share the bathroom with the family room but with the advent of Covid-19 I no longer ask guests to share a bathroom . If you are a family however and you are able to share the bathroom, please contact me for availability and price.
In the bathrooms you will enjoy gorgeous Arran Aromatics toiletries as well as deodorant, shaving gel, razors, sewing kits, shower caps and vanity kits. Bath sheets and hand towels are provided for each guest and bathrobes are in the room which has the private external bathroom.
All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, including filter coffee and a cafetiere and tasty hot chocolate. Decaffeinated coffee is available on request (and at breakfast!) and a selection of teas is available in the entrance hall. A hairdryer, luggage rack, iron and full size ironing board are in each room.
A travel cot or Moses basket, baby bath and high chair are available for those with babies.
Deluxe king room
This spacious south facing room is the original master bedroom of the house. It is large, bright and spacious with a bay window overlooking the front garden. Leading from the bedroom are double doors to the deluxe en-suite shower room with full vanity unit and double shower enclosure.
Provided for your comfort are a comfortable king size bed, leather sofa, coffee table, and 32" Smart television with Netflix, wall to wall wardrobes and storage space, everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. £65-£80 per night plus breakfast if wished.
King Ensuite
With a comfortable king size bed this room overlooks the garden to the side of the house.
This is a large, quiet room in vibrant purple and green. There is a comfy couch, 32" Smart TV, fitted wardrobe and the latest renovation to the house - a compact ensuite bathroom with double shower enclosure. £60-£75 per night plus breakfast if wished.
family/twin room
With a double and a single divan bed this room is perfect for families or those wishing separate beds. The large private bathroom is external to the room, just a few steps down the hallway. It has an extra large bath and separate shower cubicle.
This is a beautiful south facing room, the formal lounge of the house. Large and spacious with a leather sofa, coffeee table, original fireplace and a bay window overlooking the front garden, it provides everything you will need for a relaxing stay. £55-£90 per night depending on number of guests.
